Your Rights
You own the words you contribute to Storified. Collaborative stories are joint works; each contributor holds copyright in their own contributions. Contributors are credited on every story page.
License to Storified
By posting, you grant Storified a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and adapt your contributions to operate the Service and to combine them with other users' contributions to form the collaborative work.
Fair Use of Others' Work
Do not paste copyrighted text you don't have rights to (song lyrics, book passages, article content). Short quotations with clear attribution are usually fine; wholesale copying is not.
DMCA Notices
If you believe content on Storified infringes your copyright, send a notice to dmca@storified.example including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- The URL of the infringing content on Storified.
- Your contact information.
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-Notices
If your content was removed and you believe it was in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address.
Repeat Infringers
Accounts with repeated infringements are terminated.
