• Content: stories, contributions, votes, bookmarks, follows, collections.
• Usage data: pages viewed, reading activity, feature interactions.
• Technical: IP address, browser, device, referrer, error logs.

How We Use It

We use your data to operate the Service, personalize discovery, prevent abuse, comply with law, and communicate about your account. We do not sell your personal data.

AI Processing

Contributions are sent to third-party AI providers for moderation, consistency checks, and writing assistance. Providers process data under their own terms; we do not permit them to train models on your content.

Sharing

Public content (stories, contributions, profiles) is visible to anyone. We share data with service providers (hosting, email, analytics, AI) only as needed to run Storified.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Deleting your account removes personal data within 30 days; content that is part of a collaborative work may be anonymized rather than deleted to preserve the story.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. EEA/UK residents have GDPR rights; California residents have CCPA rights. Contact privacy@storified.example.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies.

Storified is not directed to children under 13.
